ABOUT SOUTH AFRICAN TRANSKEI MAGIC MUSHROOM SPORES- FOR MICROSCOPY AND RESEARCH.
South African psilocybin mushrooms originate from the wild coastal region of Transkei, South Africa. These magic mushroom spores originate from the first Psilocybe cubensis strain ever discovered on the African continent. This historic find has made them a particularly significant specimen within the field of mycology.
The Transkei psilocybin spore strain is admired by all not only for it’s geographical origin, but it’s distinct genetic profile. This sets it apart from many other strains of cubensis mushroom lineages. Since their discovery in the early 2000s, they have become an iconic study strain representing African biodiversity in microscopy research.
When being studied from under the microscope, South Transkei magic mushroom spores appear a dark purple to brown colour and are oval in shape. They’re highly detailed which makes them a pleasure to observe from under the microscope.
